There are three basic rules you need to follow:

  1. Always stay in character
  2. Use common sense
  3. Have fun

Anphillia is a roleplay PW, and as such all actions need to be in character (IC). Staying in character means always behaving like your character would behave, even if you-the-player would do something differently. Metagaming - using player knowledge as character knowledge - is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Your knowledge about the game mechanics. Specifically, do not discuss any stats or numbers from the game.
  • Your knowledge about the world or other characters that your character doesn't have
  • Things from the real world that don't exist or are unknown in the game world.

Out of character (OOC) behavior is allowed in some cases as a courtesy to other players. Some examples of desired OOC behavior are:

  • Respecting that a player is temporarily AFK (their AFKing is OOC in itself, and as such they can't be interacted with IC)
  • Letting an outnumbered/outleveled enemy escape, or handling the encounter through RP emotes instead of killing them.

Do not exploit bugs in the game or the module. Report exploitable issues to the team privately.

If in doubt about a certain aspect of the the game, ask a DM.
