Players are given additional tools to enhance their roleplay or customize their characters. If there is no target, these tools are implemented as chat commands, preceded by /. If the tool requires a target, it will be implemented as one of the Player Tool feats.

Chat Commands

/bug

Report a bug in the module. This is sent to all DMs and the entire team on discord, along with some extra info.

Usage example: /bug I see a floating tree

/walk

Toggle an "Always Walk" mode for your character, so you don't have to use Detect Mode. Also synchronizes their walking speed to regular, so Barbarians and Monks can walk side by side with others.

Usage example: /walk

/horn

Blow your faction's alert horn with an optional signal (decide in-character what each signal means)

Usage examples:

  • /horn
  • /horn 3 (signal number 3)

/helm and /cloak

Toggle visibility of your helm or cloak. This allows you to wear a helm or cloak without it ruining your character's appearance

Usage examples:

  • /helm
  • /cloak

/e

Perform a quick emote action

Usage examples:

  • /e worship
  • /e dance
  • /e read
  • /e sit
  • /e drunk

/roll

Roll dice, ability/skill check or save. Prefix with # to do the roll secretly (visible to DMs only)

Usage examples:

  • /roll d100 (visibly rolls a 100 sided dice, useful for fairly dividing valuable loot)
  • /roll dex (visibly rolls a dexterity check)
  • /roll #fort (secretly rolls a fortitude save)
  • /roll #lore (secretly rolls a lore check)

OOC chat

When you need to send a message out of character, prefix it with either // or ((, like this:

  • // AFK 5 minutes
  • ((AFK 5 minutes))

This will print it in a different color so it stands out.

Player tools

10 - Unstuck tool

Player tool 10 is an OOC teleport tool that you can use if your PC gets stuck somewhere due to bad walkmeshes. Every use of this tool is logged and abuse will be punished. It is very easy to see when use is legitimate

9 - Renaming tool

Player tool 9 can be used in items in your possession to give them a custom name. Simply speak the name you want, then use the tool on an item.
